Description
The WEIMA A.200 hydraulic chip press is designed for the compaction of steel, aluminum, plastics and grinding slurry.
The main purpose of WEIMA's hydraulic chip press is to remove the fluids from the milling and turning chips of steel, aluminum and plastic that are released during machining. The press adds value to the metal waste while recovering valuable amounts of oil or coolants used in the production process.
WEIMA Hydraulic Chip Press A.200
The compact unit is placed directly under an existing chip conveyor, where the filling height can be adjusted using the adjustable machine feet. The ejector tube rises at a 30° angle and can be swiveled straight, left or right. The chip press has a particularly robust design. The design is relatively simple and will do with little electronics. Unlike 'screw presses', only a few moving parts are installed. So even with years of use, wear is minimal. The concept is therefore particularly suitable for processing machines that have to produce unmanned at night or during the weekend.
The conical ejector tube is preloaded with plate springs and thus creates a clamping force on the compact result. The preload can be adjusted in various ways and thus the degree of compaction can also be flexibly adjusted. The pressed emulsion is collected in an oil drain pan under the press, filtered and can thus be returned directly to the processing machine.
The hydraulic unit works with a 4kW unit and reaches a pressure of up to 200bar. The pressing cycles can be flexibly adapted to the control system depending on the time required during production.
The built-in PLC control is easy to adjust and is optimally geared to the (automatic) discharge process. Many settings, such as press force and cycle time, are preset but can be easily adjusted to suit the desired application. If necessary, the machine can be used in manual or automatic mode.
The briquettes, discs or pulp are formed by the pressing cylinder, which presses the material against the previously produced discs, which are still in the discharge line. The sloped bend of the discharge pipe generates enough back pressure to strongly compact and discharge the material. In addition, the wedge position of the discharge pipe can be used to set a later re-compaction.
The WEIMA Hydraulic Chip Press A.200 has the following advantages:
- Reduces your chip volume by 40%
- Recovery of precious emulsion and/or oil
- Low percentage of residual liquid
- No downtime due to faltering chip discharge
- A must for unmanned and 24/7 production
- Direct placement under the chip conveyor
- Suitable for chips, plastic and grinding residue
- Equipped with filter unit and return pump
- Compact footprint
- Particularly suitable for processing machines that have to produce unmanned.
